The finished b&w version of Butterflies.

The next stage is to play with colours...to start with I'm thinking of REds to make it a bit gothic after my floral canvas looked really good with just the reds on.

This one was a colour test although I'm not sure I want to use actual colours. I might play around with just one colour, red perhaps, and see what that looks like.

I'm working on a new design involving butterflies and I thought I would put up some of the stages of the drawing because I'm resolving to document my process to a better degree in case I make a mistake or want to try different approaches with the colour ... and so on.
